Quote of the Day 04/30/2019

Another day and another Quote of the Day. Something that I’ve been pondering, especially recently, is the idea of youth. I was recently talking with someone I grew up with and we were lamenting the number of stupid things we did growing up and how we are now, physically at least, paying for those actions. It was gotten me thinking however. Can I really blame all my physical ailments on actions that for me are 20 years old or more? Or is it more likely that it was the repeated willingness to not take care of myself physically. Just as importantly, if I feel aches and pains now how much worse would it have been if I had not started making changes when I did?  I am grateful that I have been blessed with the opportunity to correct and change the course I was progressing along. I choose to see it as a good reminder that I need to keep going, I need to keep pushing myself for more progress. If I can see the improvement now, how much more will I experience when I get where I want to be. Take a few minutes today to take stock. If you aren’t thrilled with where you’re at make sure you take the opportunity to change all your tomorrows for the better. Have a blessed day, y’all. Stay safe, stay dry and enjoy another beautiful day.

Take care of your body. It's the only place you have to live.
