Here we are halfway through another work week and another Quote of the Day. The road to change can be long and to maintain it takes focus. That can become difficult as we progress down the path and things start to pop-up to try and trip us up and cause us to stumble. It is easy to let this challenges become the focus. To let our eyes become set on the trouble in front of us. I’ve found when I let this happen the path starts to feel more difficult and arduous. I start to get caught up in the struggles and I can lose perspective on all that I have already overcome and all the distance already traveled. If my focus becomes the current issue I find more issues wherever I look. I have come to understand the idea that I find more of what I focus on. When I see things as opportunities instead of obstacles that I attack with more vigor and have more frequent success in overcoming. When I let the obstacles take up the whole of my vision I can lose sight of the sun. It then becomes all about how what I focus on affects my mindset. And I firmly believe it would be utterly impossible to overstate the importance and benefit of the power of the mind in making changes.
