Here we are at the end of another work week and another Quote of the Day. It can be dreadfully easy to see a stumbling block as an impassable mountain. The more times I struggle to overcome a specific aspect or issue the larger it seems to loom. When I take my eyes off my goals the issue in front of me can quickly consume all of my attention and effort. It begins to weigh on me and it can lead to doubt, frustration, and aggravation. It is in those moments that I need to take a step back, take a deep breath and realize that boundary wall I’m currently facing is a lesson not a limit. So many of the things we overcome in life are done by persistence. I know most of my accomplishments have happened because I just didn’t give up. Life can feel dark and overwhelming at times. It can feel like the waves will never stop crashing over us threatening to drown us where we stand but escape can always be found, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel if we just don’t give up.
